The album contains the soundtrack from the The Reverse motion picture. At this year’s 34th Polish Film Festival in Gdynia, Włodek Pawlik received an individual award for music for the film. Information from artist: “The soundtrack operates on many aesthetic plains, from references to jazz music in the convention of the 50’s and 60’s period, merging quasi-classical elements and even rock. This is a very rich soundtrack which in a natural manner reveals my approach to music. What is significant, it’s not a clear reflection of the time and place of events portrayed in the movie. It is one of the elements which frees the story of the corselet of the social realistic reality.
The charm of the film is in the fact that at a certain moment there is an escape from realism to refined abstraction. Such freedom and diversity in the sound layer is absolutely fantastic.”
